Very neatly furnished This is based on the lines - "Heavy rain. Mr Baker the head of the Missionaries came on board to see Captain Hobson. I had to go ashore with him on duty and remained at his house some time, very neatly furnished 2 daughters and 1 boy." The lack of a comma is the Midshipman's.
